Fat freezing, technically known as cryolipolysis, is an FDA approved non-invasive method of freezing fat cells to get rid of “love handles,” and other unwanted bulges of fat. Fat freezing works by using paddles that suction your skin into a cup in order to crystallize underlying fat cells.
Your body has a fixed number of fat cells that get bigger or smaller as you gain or lose weight. When you have the Fat Freezing treatment, fat cells freeze and start to die off. During the process of cell death, fat cells begin to collapse. Clients may start noticing results in as early as 3 weeks, although they will not see they're final results until the 16th week.
The Fat Freezing procedure takes 35 minutes, therefore clients should expect about 45-50 minutes due to paperwork and preparation. Clients can also expect bruising, swelling and tenderness after the procedure.
